Sun Lakes/SunBird 2009-2010
Annual Media Crystal Awards
“recognizing those who make our community a better place to live”
NOMINATION GUIDELINES
Please read carefully. The Awards Committee will consider adherence to these guidelines and procedures when evaluating nominations.
ELIGIBILITY
The Crystal Awards will recognize those people who have achieved or accomplished significance in various areas that make the community a better place to live and work. Specific areas are purposely avoided so that the awards might be inclusive for all residents of The Sun Lakes communities and The SunBird Golf Resort.
Nominations will be evaluated with considerable attention given to current and lifetime achievements of the nominee’s activities and the impact they have had in our communities. Activities in support of political candidates or ballot initiatives will not be considered when evaluating nominees. Preference will be given to those whose work, efforts, or achievements have benefited the communities as a whole that result in a better community in which to live.
